Designed for the co-extraction of plant and microbiome DNA from fibrous, woody, and resinous plant tissues, the Plax Plant & Endophyte DNA Extraction Kit delivers a high yield of high-quality, inhibitor-free DNA. Our proprietary extraction method combines chemical and mechanical lysis, silica spin columns, and a specialized chemical blend to maximize DNA recovery while effectively removing plant-derived inhibitors–perfect for PCR/qPCR and High-Throughput Sequencing (HTS) applications. Plax is optimized for plant microbiome studies, endophyte research, and genetic analysis of challenging plant samples and is currently one of the few plant microbiome-optimized extraction kits on the market.
